Do you take insurance?For lactation related visits, we partner with the Lactation Network. The Lactation Network guarantees every qualifying family up to six 90 minute in-home lactation consultations at no out-of-pocket cost to you! They handle the paperwork and bill your insurance directly. They accept most plans with: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, Cigna PPO, United Healthcare PPO and HMO, VA CCN, PNOA (logo on card), and Multiplan (logo on card). To check if your visits will be 100% covered by insurance: CLICK HERE For non-lactation related visits, St. Johns Feeding does not accept insurance. Itemized invoices with diagnostic and treatment codes can be provided to families to submit to their insurance for potential out of network reimbursement. We cannot guarantee insurance reimbursement.

What is an IBCLC?There are many different professionals that can provide breastfeeding support. International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are the highest standard of breastfeeding care. At St. Johns Feeding, we have completed extensive training, hundreds of clinical hours, and a board certification process to ensure we have the knowledge and skills to best support your unique needs. As a dually certified IBCLC and SLP, we have advanced knowledge to manage more complex feeding issues such as tongue ties, latch difficulties and swallowing disorders.

Do you provide mentoring to other therapists/lactation professionals?At this time, St. Johns Feeding is unable to provide mentoring or observation opportunities.
